Installation

Is it ok to install equipment myself?
Some of the installation of HVAC and refrigeration equipment can be done. Refrigerant handling, and evacuation of refrigerant lines need to be performed by a qualified technician. The start up and final inspection of all heating and air conditioning equipment and some refrigeration equipment needs to be done by a certified technician to validate the manufacturers warranty. If in doubt, questions are welcome.

Are permits required?
You may be required by your city to obtain a permit for installation of some equipment. It is your responsibility to obtain the proper permits for your location.

Making a purchase

Will I receive a confirmation of my order?
All order confirmation receipts are sent by email.

What about sales tax?
All orders are tax free if shipped outside of Washington state. Orders within Washington state add 8.8%.

Shipping

Do I need to be home to accept the shipment?
You need to be present to sign for the shipment. By signing, you are stating that you inspected for freight damage and have received what was shipped.

Will I be called by the freight carrier before delivery?
The freight carrier will contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery time and date. They will not leave items at your door without a signature.

Why should I have a liftgate?
Some of the equipment can weigh over 100 lbs palletized. Unless you have a forklift to unload the equipment, the carrier will insist on a liftgate delivery charge. The liftgate will lower the equipment to the ground. You are responsible to take the equipment from there.
